Terms & Conditions
- By using our services or buying our products or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions presented on this page. Any changes to our terms and conditions will be updated here.
- Any materials supplied by One Stop Services remain the property of One Stop Services until full payment is received and can be removed if payment is not made.
- When painting or paint spraying any interior walls, ceilings or windows, there is a chance that the masking tape used may remove some paint from the area it is applied to. Unfortunately, this is a potential drawback when using masking tape, but there are no alternative methods available when trying to prevent overspray. One Stop Services will accept no liability for this.
- One Stop Services will not make the final decision or provide recommendations regarding colour choices, as individual tastes and preferences vary. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they are completely satisfied with their chosen colour before any painting or spraying work begins. We strongly recommend obtaining touch-up pots, physical colour samples or swatches beforehand to confirm that the colour is suitable.
- If we have quoted a job at a fixed price, this will include labour and all materials unless otherwise stated.
- Some jobs will require access equipment. This will be discussed with the client before any work takes place, and the cost is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
- We cannot guarantee paint spraying that has been applied onto silicone or gaskets due to the possibility of peeling or cracking. We recommend re-siliconing once all work has been completed. One Stop Services will accept no liability for paint applied to silicone or gaskets. If you require advice, please ask when booking the work.
- All colours and gloss levels chosen are the responsibility of the customer and should be confirmed before any work takes place. We can provide advice if required but accept no liability for the customer's final colour choice. Please be aware that shades and colours may look different online, and we recommend comparing your chosen colour using a physical colour swatch or sample.
- Access is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise discussed with us at the time of quotation.
- We can only guarantee our own paintwork. We cannot provide guarantees for old or existing paint that has not been removed before we begin applying our paint. Please ask about the cost of removing existing paint when requesting your quotation.
- We provide a 5-year guarantee on applicable residential and commercial paint spraying work. Our guarantee covers peeling and cracking. It does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches or chips. All paintwork should be cleaned using a damp cloth without harsh chemicals.
Our available gloss levels are full matt at approximately 0% to 3%, satin at approximately 15% to 30%, semi-gloss at approximately 40% to 60% and full gloss at approximately 90%.
Please be aware that when having a kitchen or another high-traffic item sprayed, choosing a matt or low-satin finish may make stains more difficult to remove because of the lower gloss level. Generally, the higher the gloss level, the greater the protection offered.
A matt lacquer can also be applied after the paint to provide additional protection. Please ask about this service when enquiring.
One Stop Services will not accept liability for stains that cannot be removed due to the gloss level selected by the customer.
All invoices are issued with payment terms of 7 or 14 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is not received by the due date, the account will be considered overdue.
We reserve the right to:
- Charge statutory interest on overdue amounts at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily from the due date until payment is received, where applicable under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Apply a fixed compensation fee for late payment of £40 for debts up to £999.99, £70 for debts between £1,000 and £9,999.99, and £100 for debts of £10,000 or more, where applicable.
- Recover any reasonable costs incurred in the collection of overdue amounts, including debt recovery fees and legal costs where applicable.
We may also suspend or pause any ongoing work or services until outstanding balances are settled in full.
Failure to pay overdue invoices may result in further action to recover the debt, including third-party debt collection or legal proceedings.
- Our payment terms are strictly payment on completion for residential work. Commercial and industrial work is payable within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our health and safety policy documents are available at the customer's request. Risk assessments and method statements can be supplied together with the relevant purchase order information where required.
Our operatives are comprehensively insured with £5 million public liability insurance and £10 million employers' liability insurance.
- All claims must be made in writing and addressed to our head office within 48 hours after the issue has arisen. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that head office receives the complaint or claim and to obtain a reference number from us relating to the complaint or claim. If any complaint is proven not to have resulted from work carried out by our operatives, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee of £100 plus VAT to cover expenses and time. You can email us at [email protected].
- We collect customer information including names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses. This information is used by One Stop Services to assist us in providing our services. Customer information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and will not be sold to third parties.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that suitable parking is available for our vans. We may issue an invoice for wasted time and associated costs if we are unable to carry out the work because suitable parking or access has not been provided.
We will provide the customer with a satisfaction sign-off sheet at the end of every job. If the customer is present, they should inspect the completed work carefully before signing the sheet.
Customers should raise any concerns regarding the completed work as soon as reasonably possible.

Any items left at our unit are the responsibility of the client. One Stop Services will not accept responsibility for damaged goods except where damage has been caused by our negligence.

All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our unit. Payment can be made using the payment methods accepted by One Stop Services at the time of collection.
Spray Booth
We recommend that customers bring suitable protection for their completed products when collecting them to help prevent damage during transport. One Stop Services will not accept responsibility for goods damaged after they have been collected.
Spray Booth
It is the customer's responsibility to collect their items on the agreed completion date. We are a busy spray booth and have limited space to store customer goods. A storage charge of £20 per day may therefore be applied if items are not collected on the agreed date.
Spray Booth
Please ensure that you are satisfied with the colour and workmanship before removing your items from our premises. Customers should inspect their items before collection and notify us of any concerns before leaving the premises.
If One Stop Services books a time slot to carry out work at your property, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the area is clear and accessible so that we can carry out the painting or spraying work.
If, for any reason, we are unable to carry out the work because the area is not ready or accessible and we have not been given at least 48 hours' notice, a charge of £300 plus VAT may be applied to cover the cost of the two operatives allocated to the job.
- We cannot accept responsibility for leaks from radiators brought to the spray booth for painting. One Stop Services provides paint spraying services and does not provide plumbing services, so it is not possible for us to pressure-test radiators when they arrive at our spray booth.
- Any items brought to the spray booth will be visually checked for existing damage before work begins. Where damage is identified, work will not proceed until we have permission from the client to continue. This inspection does not include leakage, hidden defects or holes within radiators.
- All qualifying bird-proofing netting supplied and installed by One Stop Services is guaranteed for a period of ten years from the date of installation.
- Qualifying solar panel bird-proofing installations are guaranteed for a period of ten years from the date of installation.
- Bird-proofing spikes are not covered by the standard guarantee due to the nature of the installation process, which involves the use of silicone adhesive.
- Should any bird-proofing spikes become detached, One Stop Services will carry out one return visit to reattach the affected spikes at no additional cost to the client.
- This obligation is strictly limited to one return visit per installation. Any further remedial work will be chargeable at our prevailing rates.
Mesh Installation
One Stop Services will normally install galvanised mesh using a plastic clipping system to secure it to the panels. Where this is not suitable, or where additional fixing is required, tech screws may be used to secure the mesh to the outer casing.
- Please retain your invoice, as this will need to be provided if you need to make a claim under the 5-year guarantee for any applicable spraying work undertaken by One Stop Services.
